Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), one of Bangladesh’s leading public universities, has officially released its admission circular for the academic year 2024-2025. The admission process is open to students who have completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent examinations and meet the eligibility criteria.

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) authority were arranged 140^th academic council meeting. In that meeting on yesterday the decision about admission test 2023-2025 was taken. Professor Dr. Akhtarul Islam was conformed that notice.

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology was established on 25^th August 1986. It is also called SUST. Shahjalal University of Science and Technology is situated at Sylhet in Bangladesh. It is a nonprofit research University of Bangladesh.

Admision Test Date: 28 February 2025

Apply Fee: Unit A = 850, Unit B1 = 850 & Unit B2 = 950

SUST Admission Education Requirement:

Candidates who have passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2021 or 2022 and the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024 can apply for admission. Students must have specific minimum GPA requirements to be eligible for different units:

• Unit A (Science): Combined GPA of 8.00 (SSC + HSC), with at least 3.50 in each examination.
• Unit B (Science, Business Studies & Humanities):
• Science students: Minimum combined GPA of 7.50 (SSC + HSC) and at least 3.00 in each.
• Business students: Minimum combined GPA of 7.00 and at least 3.00 in each.
• Humanities students: Minimum combined GPA of 6.50 and at least 3.00 in each.

Applicants on this site will be able to see the admission guidelines, notices and links of all the units of Dhaka University. Before applying to any unit, please read the guidelines and website guidelines carefully. Also read the instructions in the yellow box on the method page.
• To apply for admission in any unit, click on the ‘Apply / Login’ button of the Dhaka University admission website.

• After clicking on the ‘Application / Login’ button, the applicant’s Higher Secondary / Equivalent on the ‘Application / Login’ page Give ‘roll’ by providing the Roll Number, Examination Roll Number, Board Name and Roll Number of Secondary or equivalent exams Click on the button and the applicant’s secondary and secondary examination information and applicant on the next page If you have the ability to apply to all the units, click on the ‘confirm’ button.

How to pay admission test fee of SUST

You can pay Shah jalal University of science amd technology admission test fee by two ways.One for Dutch Bangla Bank limited mobile Banking (DBBL Mobile banking) and Other one is Brac bank mobile banking service(BKash mobile banking). Here is noted down both of the payment procedure.

BKash payment for sust admission exam

1. when you select bkash for payment method while filling-up application form admission test.just input your bkash number.
2. After inputting the bkash number you will see the total amount have to pay and the billing number.
3. In the mean time you will receive a verification code for submitting in next step. submit the 6 digit code
4. Input your Bkash pin number.
5. You have done!

5. Input Biller ID “###”

In that meeting admission related committee was created. In that committee 32 members are in there. Committee’s director is Forestry and Environmental Science department head Professor Dr. Narayan Shaha & member of secretary is Civil and Environmental Engineering department head Professor Mustaq Ahmod.

Vice-Chancellor Professor informed that they were unable to take the combined admission test under the present circumstances. The university authorities expressed its regrets to the students for this. The university’s authorities dropped the date and the new admission test procedure amid students’ protest against the integrated admission test system.
