পিএসসির একজন সদস্য বলেন, কমিশনে আজ সিদ্ধান্ত হয়েছে আগামী ২৬ এপ্রিল প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। এই পরীক্ষা পেছানোতে যে ক্ষতি হয়েছে, তা পুষিয়ে নিতে দ্রুত সময়ে ফল প্রকাশ ও লিখিত পরীক্ষা নেওয়ার পরিকল্পনাও করা হয়েছে সভায়।
আগামী ৯ মার্চ ৪৬তম বিসিএসের প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষা নেওয়ার দিন ঠিক ছিল। পিএসসি এ বিষয়ে পরীক্ষার তারিখ জানিয়ে বিজ্ঞপ্তিও প্রকাশ করেছিল। তবে সিটি করপোরেশন নির্বাচনের কারণে পরীক্ষার তারিখ পরিবর্তন হয়। ঢাকা, রাজশাহী, চট্টগ্রাম, খুলনা, বরিশাল, সিলেট, রংপুর ও ময়মনসিংহ কেন্দ্রে একযোগে ৪৬তম বিসিএসের প্রিলিমিনারি পরীক্ষা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।
