RUET Admission Test 2025: Exam Format

The RUET Admission Test for 2025 consists of two major components: the MCQ Test and the Written Test. These tests are designed to assess the candidate’s knowledge in fundamental subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.

1. MCQ Admission Test (February 8, 2025)

• The MCQ (Multiple-Choice Question) test is the first stage of the RUET Admission process. It is intended to evaluate the candidate’s basic understanding of subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
• The exam will consist of questions from these key areas, with candidates required to answer them in a limited time.
• The results of the MCQ test will be announced on February 13, 2025. Candidates who pass this round will move on to the next stage of the admission process.

2. Written Admission Test (February 20, 2025)

• For candidates who successfully pass the MCQ test, the Written Test is the next challenge. The written exam will further evaluate a candidate’s aptitude and problem-solving abilities in engineering-related subjects.
• The admit cards for the written test will be issued on February 16, 2025, and candidates must bring their admit cards to the exam center.
• The written exam will be held on February 20, 2025, and the results will determine the final list of admitted students.

Admission Test System

Total 350 Marks written exam will be held on the admission test. No MCQ type question will be available. Kha Unit Applicants have to face extra 100 Marks Freehand drawing Exam.

Marks Distribution: Physics – 100, Math – 100, Chemistry – 100 Marks and English 50 Marks.
