Overview of KUET Admission 2025-26
The KUET admission process is conducted entirely online, and all information is published on the official portal admission.kuet.ac.bd. For the upcoming session, KUET will admit a total of 1065 students across 16 departments. Additionally, five special seats are reserved for students from small ethnic groups (Kshudra-Nri-Goshti) and the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) region.

These dates must be followed carefully, as KUET does not extend deadlines.
KUET Educational Requirements:
- Interested candidates ought to passed HSC or equivalent exam in 2025 or they must have ‘A’ level certificate which was got before November,,
- They have to get minimum CGPA 4.00 in together of SSC & HSC or similar exam result,
- They must acquire total 18 grade points in both of Mathematics, Chemistry, English & Physics subjects,
- They have to obtain individually CGPA 3.50 in Chemistry, Physics & Mathematics subjects.
Eligibility for GCE (O & A Level) Students
- Must pass at least 5 subjects at O-Level with grade ‘B’ or better.
- Must pass Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at A-Level with at least grade ‘B’.
- Certificates must be issued in November 2024 or later.
BME Requirements for GCE Students
Must have at least a ‘B’ grade in Biology at A-Level.

How to Apply
- Visit the official application portal: admission.kuet.ac.bd.
- Fill in your SSC and HSC details, including board, roll, and registration numbers.

Application Fee Structure
KUET has introduced a two-step fee payment system for the 2025-26 session:
Step 1: Initial Application Fee — BDT 500
All applicants must pay this amount during online form submission. KUET will then review the academic results of all applicants.
Step 2: Final Exam Fee (For Eligible Applicants Only)
Only the top 12,000 candidates (based on HSC GPA in specific subjects) will be allowed to sit for the exam.

KUET uses a specific formula to pick the top 12,000 candidates based on their HSC performance.

Which calculators are allowed?
KUET allows non-programmable calculators only. The official circular lists the approved models.
