About Admission Test
Normally question paper is prepared in Bangla language, but any applicant wants, then question paper will prepare in English language. In this case, applicant must inform to the authority before 15 days of exam. He/she have to pay charge at BDT. 100 & send a written application letter. HSTU Admission test 2025 will be organized by MCQ method. A total mark of this test is 100. 0.25 Marks will deduct for every wrong answer.
ক) ভর্তি পরীক্ষায় সকল ধরণের ইলেকট্রনিক ডিভাইস (যেমন- ঘড়ি, ক্যালকুলেটর, মোবাইল ফোন ইত্যাদি) নিয়ে পরীক্ষার হলে প্রবেশ করা সম্পূর্ণরূপে নিষিদ্ধ।
খ) সকল প্রকার ইউনিট এবং সকল প্রকার কোটায় ভর্তি জন্য পরীক্ষায় ন্যূনতম ৩০ নম্বর পেতে হবে।
গ) বিভিন্ন অনুষদের বিভিন্ন বিষয়ের “পছন্দক্রম (Choice Form)” ফরম ভর্তি পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ প্রার্থীদের ভর্তি পূর্বে অনলাইনে পূরণ করতে হবে। যে সকল ভর্তি আবেদন বলবৎ রয়েছে শুধুমাত্র তাদের ক্ষেত্রে প্রযোজ্য।
ঘ) ‘C’ ইউনিটের ক্ষেত্রে মোট আসনের ৬০% বাণিজ্য এবং ৪০% বিজ্ঞান/মানবিক বিভাগের ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের জন্য এবং ‘D’ ইউনিটের ক্ষেত্রে মোট আসনের ৬০% মানবিক এবং ৪০% বিজ্ঞান বিভাগের ছাত্র সংরক্ষিত থাকবে।
ঙ) ভর্তি পরীক্ষার কল্যাণ ও তথ্য বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের নোটিশ বোর্ড এবং ওয়েবসাইট (https://hstu.ac.bd/admission/index) মাধ্যমে জানানো হবে। মোবাইল ফোন ব্যবহার করে তথ্য জানা যাবে।
চ) ভর্তি পরীক্ষার আবেদন সংক্রান্ত কোন তথ্য যথাযথ স্থানে প্রদর্শিত হলে আবেদনটি সরাসরি বাতিল হবে।
ছ) বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কর্তৃপক্ষ প্রদত্ত ভর্তি পরীক্ষার কোন তারিখ, সময়সূচী ও পরীক্ষা সংক্রান্ত সক্ষমতা সংরক্ষণ করে।
বি. দ্র. বর্তমানে আবাসিক হলসমূহে আসন খালি না থাকায় ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের আসন গ্রহণের সুবিধা দেয়া যাবে না।

HSTU Admit Card
From 1st November (Sunday) to 1st December (Wednesday), applicant will download admit card. They have to print admit card into A4 size offset paper. Admit card will found in HSTU website & also our website.
HSTU Question Paper:
The question paper will be in Bengali by default. However, if a candidate wants to take the exam in English, they must specify this in the designated section during the online application process. This choice will be visible on the applicant’s admit card.
Exam Method:
The admission test will be conducted in the Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) format. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
HSTU admission Marks distributions & Evaluation:
- The total marks for the admission test will be 100 (or 200 marks for Architecture).
- Candidates will be selected based on merit.
- The final score will be determined by adding:
- 100 marks from the MCQ admission test.
- 50 marks from the GPA of SSC & HSC (or equivalent) results, calculated as 40% of the total GPA.
- For Architecture, an additional 50-mark Drawing test will be included, making the total 200 marks.
- The minimum passing mark for the drawing test is 15 out of 50.
