DU admission test for the 2026–27 academic year will be held on five dates in December 2026. Dhaka University Applications open on 11 November and close on 25 November.

Online application: 11 to 25 November 2026.
Four of the five tests fall on consecutive Saturdays, with the Charukala unit on the Tuesday in between. None of the dates clash, so you can sit every unit you are eligible for.

Dhaka University renamed its units from the Bengali letters Ka, Kha, Ga and Cha to A, B, C and Charukala. Older guides and question papers still use the Bengali letters, so it helps to know both. If you are practising from past papers, a “Ka unit” paper is an A unit paper.

How to apply for the DU admission test 2026-27
Applications are made online at admission.eis.du.ac.bd between 11 and 25 November 2026.
- Open the portal at admission.eis.du.ac.bd during the application window
- Enter your SSC and HSC details — roll number, registration number, board and passing year
- Check which units you are eligible for. The portal shows this based on your HSC group and GPA
- Select your unit or units. You can apply for more than one if you qualify
- Upload your photograph in the size and format the portal specifies
- Pay the application fee through the payment options listed
- Download and print the applicant copy. It carries the details you will need for the admit card
Do not leave it until 25 November. The portal is busiest in its final 48 hours, and a payment that fails on the last day cannot be fixed the next morning. Apply in the first week if you can.
Eligibility
Eligibility depends on your HSC group, your SSC and HSC GPA, and the unit you are applying to. Dhaka University sets a minimum combined GPA that differs for each unit, and some units require specific subjects at HSC.

DU admit card 2026-27
Admit cards are downloaded from the same portal, admission.eis.du.ac.bd, using the login details you created during application. The download window usually opens one to two weeks before each test.
To download:
- Log in to admission.eis.du.ac.bd with your applicant ID and password
- Open the admit card section for your unit
- Check that your name, photograph, roll number and centre are correct
- Download the PDF and print it
Print it on paper. A phone screen is not accepted at the centre, and phones are not allowed in the exam hall in any case. Print two copies.
Dhaka University has not yet announced the admit card release dates for 2026–27. When it does, they will be added to our DU admit card download page.
DU seat plan and exam centre
Your centre and seat number are printed on the admit card. Dhaka University holds the admission test at centres in Dhaka and in the divisional cities, and the centre you are allocated depends on the preference you gave during application.
Two things worth doing once you have your admit card:
- Visit the centre before exam day if it is somewhere you have not been. Find the actual building, not just the area
- Plan for traffic. December Saturdays in Dhaka are heavy, and the test starts on time regardless
Exam day checklist
Take with you:
- Your printed admit card
- Your HSC registration card
- A photo ID
- Black ballpoint pens, more than one
- A simple analogue watch if you use one
Leave at home: calculators, phones, smart watches, and any electronic device. Dhaka University does not permit them in the exam hall, and being caught with one ends your test.
Arrive at least an hour early. Candidates are usually not admitted after the test begins.

Dhaka University Admit Card

How to Download DU Admit Card?
To take the admission test, you need to download the admit card from the official website of DU admission. Here are a few simple steps to download the admit card right away.
- Go to the Dhaka University admission website at https://admission.eis.du.ac.bd.
- Enter your SSC and HSC information to log in to your candidate dashboard.
- You will get the admit card download option in the Dashboard.
- Click on Download to get the admit card.

Dhaka University Seat Plan
Usually, the seating plan for Dhaka University admission is published 48 hours before the admission test. You can check the seating plan either by logging in to your candidate Dashboard or through SMS.
Here is the format to check the seating plan through SMS.
- Go to your mobile phone’s message option.
- Type DU<space>Unit Keyword<space>Admission Test Roll and send it to 16321.
- Example: DU KHA 123456 and send it to 16321.
- You will get the seating plan immediately.
Key Instructions for Candidates
- Admit Cards: Students must download their admit cards from the official portal before the examination date. It is mandatory to bring the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the test center.
