Version and Feature of NID Wallet APK
The latest version that is currently available is Version 1.1.35 which was updated on December 22, 2020. This new version fixed the crash issues with image capture faced in earlier versions. To use this app one requires a mobile phone with a camera that can scan QR code and an Internet connection.
The app also comes with a face identity verification feature to ensure secure access to a particular account created on the Bangladesh Election Commission website. This new version has increased the security in such a way that without the permission of a certain user his or her National ID cannot be collected, as face verification is mandatory to create an account and the said face verification is only possible through the app only.

After opening the app a QR scan camera gets activated that is required to create an account on the Bangladesh Election Commission website. While registering on the website: https://services.nidw.gov.bd/nid-pub/ after providing personal details of NID number, Date of Birth, Present and Permanent address the website will provide a QR code scanning option that must be scanned by the app.
The following step is to scan the face from the front and from both sides. After that, a person can use their account on the Bangladesh Election Commission Website and will get access to all the services offered by Bangladesh Election Commission.
