About Ektee Bari Ektee Khamar (One House One Farm)

Ektee Bari Ektee Khamar (One House One Farm) is a poverty alleviation project through family farming of the government of Bangladesh. The poor beneficiaries developed huge fund of BDT 13320 million and invested BDT 9000 million USS 115 million in 680.000 income generating family fanning as given in the table-1. It is seen from table-1 that livestock represents the highest percentage (i.e. 28%). Poultry with 27% is representing the 2nd group followed by the fisheries with 14%. Kitchen gardening covers o7% followed by nursery with 06%. Importantly 18% coven different types of small fanning and other livelihood farm and non-farm activities.
