In the first phase of the written test on December 19 last year, there was chaos and disorder in five out of nine centers. The centers are Mohammadpur Women’s College, Mohammadpur Central College, BCSIR High School, Government Mohammadpur Model School and College and Dhaka Metropolitan Women’s College. Examinations at these centers were canceled.
Later, on February 26, the day of the second phase examination, the examination of these centers was held again. About 13,000 trainee lawyers took part in the examination in two stages. The date of written examination of Bangladesh Bar Council has been announced. The written test will be held on October 17, 2024. The written test will be held on Monday, October 17, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The test will be held in different centers of Dhaka city. Test centers and other information will be published on the website of Bangladesh Bar Council.
Earlier, the written test was scheduled to be held on September 26. But it was postponed due to Corona situation.

The Dhaka University authorities said in a letter dated September 13 that it was not possible to take the exam due to the current situation in Corona and various centers refusing to take the exam at the last minute. If the situation is normal, the test will be taken at a later time on short notice.
Asked about the evaluation and pass rate of the two-stage examination book, he said, “The book has been reviewed by the Judicial Council. We will get the result and the book in the morning on that day (October 19). I can’t say much more than that. ‘
