Sweden Education Week- Opportunities in Dhaka. Sweden Education Week started opportunities in Dhaka for Bangladeshi students to further simplify of study in different universities of Sweden.
Representatives of a number of educational institutions and universities of Sweden attended the event with Mia Helen, Secretary of Political & Commercial Affairs of Sweden Embassy.
From public and private universities, thousand numbers of students presented at the day-long program which started from the morning in Dhaka. They were representative of the University for Information and staffing assistance.
The Education Week was launched by on the initiative of Embassy of Sweden and the local student counseling partner Step Limited at the Hotel Westin International. Mr. John Freshel, Sweden Ambassador in Bangladesh was present as the chief guest of the event. He was given the idea at the opening ceremony for Bangladeshi students on the quality of education and opportunities in Sweden in his welcome speech.
He said, “Sweden should be the preferred destination for Bangladeshi students as an innovation-oriented country for work oriented and technology-friendly education. The Embassy of Sweden is giving the guarantee of sincere cooperation for scholarship and admission with this aim.”
Ferdous Begum, Managing Director of regional counseling partner organization ‘STEPS’ also presented there and said, “We are the only who successfully collaborate with the Swedish study in Bangladesh, not a commercial plan, the commitment Steps Limited is a talented future”.
