If any candidates not attended in the viva exam on the scheduled day at the scheduled time, his/her Eligibility for admission will be canceled. Only waiting list candidates can take admission when the seat will empty from Merit list.

Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology has 5 halls for Students. Shaheed Tareq Huda Hall, Dr. Qudrat-E-Khuda Hall, Shaheed Mohammad Shah Hall, Bangabandhu Hall for boys and Sufia Kamal Hall for girls. Limited number of foreign students can get admission through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

The following documents must be submitted to the audit committee of a candidate for admission in CUET:
- HSC Exam registration card, admit card given by the Board of Education and Admission admit card issued by the University of admission.
- Secondary or Equivalent test main /temporary certificate and marksheet/Grade sheets original copy
- The original copy ofthe Higher Secondary or equivalent examination Grade sheets
- Higher or equivalent exam temporary certificate / testimonial original copy given by Heads of educational institutions.
- Recent02(two) copies of attested passport size color photo

At least 155 credit hours must be earned to be eligible for bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Candidate is awarded Honors if he/she obtains CGPA above 3.75 or higher and awarded Chancellor’s award if CGPA is 4.0.
