The public relations officer of the ministry confirmed the release of the final results of the primary recruitment on December 14.
Earlier, the final result of preliminary recruitment was scheduled to be declared on November 28. But the results were not published as the ministry decided to re-verify the primary teachers vacancy information.
Written examination is conducted in three phases for primary teacher recruitment. After that the candidates who clear the written test participate in the stage based oral test.

Final results will not be published in October as viva (oral) exam will be held in some places in October as well. However, the results of the primary teacher recruitment exam will be released by the 3rd week of December.
Primary School Assistant Teacher Recruitment Test (Written & Oral Test) is conducted in 3 stages across the country. But the final result of all stages will be published together. Oral examination is still going on in some districts. This exam will continue till the middle of September. The final result may be declared at the end of that month.

A total of 1 lakh 51 thousand 885 candidates have passed the written examination in three stages. In about 32 thousand posts, those who pass the written and oral examination in three stages will be appointed to the post of primary assistant teachers.
However, it has been informed by the primary department that the number of posts is not being increased in the initial recruitment. 32 thousand 577 people mentioned in the notification will be appointed as assistant teachers.
Note that, 13 lakh 9 thousand 461 candidates applied for the primary teacher recruitment exam. Among them, 40 thousand 862 candidates passed the written test in the 1st phase, 53 thousand 595 in the 2nd phase and 57 thousand 368 candidates passed in the 3rd phase.
