Ministry of Education has announced on Saturday 18th January that the routine of SSC exam 2024 will be changed due to the city corporation election. Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni has also ensured the news. So the SSC and equivalent exam is going to start from the new date. The date of SSC and equivalent exam has been changed to 3rd February.

বিভিন্ন মহল থেকে দাবি ওঠার পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে নির্বাচন কমিশন ঢাকা সিটি করপোরেশনের নির্বাচন পিছিয়ে নেওয়ার কারণে আমরা পরীক্ষা পিছিয়ে ৩ ফেব্রুয়ারি থেকে শুরু করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি। পরীক্ষার নতুন সময়সূচি রোববার (১৯ জানুয়ারি) শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়ে প্রকাশ করবে বলেও জানান শিক্ষামন্ত্রী ডা. দীপু মনি।
চলতি বছর এসএসসি ও সমমানের পরীক্ষায় নয়টি বোর্ডে গত বছরের চেয়ে পরীক্ষার্থী কমেছে ৮৭ হাজার ৫৪৪ জন। এবছর মোট ২০ লাখ ৪৭ হাজার ৭৭৯ জন পরীক্ষার্থী মাধ্যমিক স্তরের এ পরীক্ষায় অংশ নেবে।
