Students, who will be passed HSC exam in 2017 with a good result, will be able to attend in admission test. There are 620 seats in Four (4) faculties. Among them, 350 seats in Agriculture faculty, 120 seats in Agri-business faculty, 100 seats in Animal science & veterinary faculty and 50 seats in Fisheries.
Students seeking admission can apply from 12:01 am on October 10, 2017 to 12:00 am on November 15, 2017.

Requirements for Admission
Students fulfilling the following requirements are eligible to apply:
- Passed SSC or equivalent examination in Science Group in the year 2014 or 2015.
- Passed HSC or equivalent examination in the year 2016 or 2017 with at least CGPA 3 in each of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
- Securing a minimum GPA 3 in each of S.S.C and H.S.C examinations but combined GPA should be at least 7.0.
- Candidates passed GCE ‘O’ level and ‘A’ level; at least ‘B’ grade in 5 papers in ‘O’ level and at least ‘B’ grade in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology in ‘A’ level.
The admission test will be held on December 01, 2017.
The decision has been taken at the Central Admission Committee’s meeting presided over by SAU Vice-Chancellor Professor Kamal Uddin Ahmed on October 8, 2017. The press release also said, application fee has been set Tk. 1000/- this year.

SAU admission test application process:
Application fee must be submitted through the Dutch Bangla Bank Mobile Banking after filling the application form to take part in the admission test. Candidates have to upload a passport-size color photograph during the time of application form fill-up.
- Candidates have to apply online for admission and application fee is only payable through Dutch Bangla Bank (DBBL) mobile banking.
- Candidate have to upload passport size photograph while applying online.
To get admission candidates must Form fill up through online and application fee have to pay by the Dutch Bangla Bank (DBBL) mobile banking. Applicants need passport size color photo to fillup the form. Applicants will get application form Sher E Bangla agricultural university official website, when form fillup will complete then candidates will get an “ID Number”. You have to print the “ID Number” page.
From any Dutch Bangla Bank (DBBL) mobile banking point you can pay the admission fee against the “ID Number” in Sher E Bangla agricultural university account. After paying three (3) days applicants will get their Admit Card from university website. By using “ID Number” applicants can get Admit card.
After complete payment using DBBL Mobile Banking, Please go to PAYMENT Menu and submit your Application ID and Transaction ID (Transaction ID/Number received from DBBL Mobile Banking)

Sher-E-Bangla Agricultural University Admission Test will be held on MCQ system in 100 Marks at one (1) Hours. Sher E Bangla agricultural university question will come from General knowledge, English and physics, chemistry, Math & biology (based on higher secondary book). For per wrong answer 0.25 numbers will deduct from your main number.
350 students will be admitted in the Faculty of Agriculture, 75 in the Faculty of Agribusiness Management, and 90 students will be admitted in the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine.
The press release also said, some students may be admitted in the Faculty of Fisheries and Aquaculture based on the approval of the Academic Council.
