Acting Career
In 1988, Vaughn was offered a role in a Chevrolet commercial. This experience sparked his desire to pursue a career in acting. He moved to Los Angeles the next year and made his television acting debut the following year in episodes of the shows China Beach and 21 Jump Street.
On the sets of the 1996 comedy-drama film ‘Swingers,’ in which Vaughn portrayed a struggling actor named Trent. The met and became good friends with the film’s director and writer, Jon Favreau.
