Parents and teachers play a vital role in shaping the life of a young person. However, the coaches should not be forgotten, especially on National Coaches Day. US Olympic soccer gold medalist Julie Foodie once said that sports not only make good athletes but also help make better people. Lessons learned in the athletic competition are useful in all areas of life.
Almost all the qualities associated with being a positive coach also play an important role in sports. A coach teaches how to build confidence, how to communicate, and how to do teamwork.
National Coaches Day:
October 6 is National Coaches Day. Respect the men and women who inspire us to work harder and give our best. A coach organizes the team, plans the training and practices, and motivates the players to try to be the best. At the same time, coaches guide players to improve their weaknesses.
Every competition or game requires a leader. More importantly, a leader who knows the game and inspires and drives athletes to work together as a team.
Coach Snoop Doug said—“The best coach is the one who sets you up for life, not the game”.
Many coaches maintain a schedule for conditioning, training, and preparing athletes. Not only do they create this schedule for competition but it also works for their best health. Injury prevents the movement of athletes and upsets teams. Although a coach’s ultimate goal is to win, he does so through his store of knowledge. Trainers also work to build teams that can achieve success through good teamwork. They develop the work ethic and set standards for their athletes that many carry throughout their lives.

History Of National Coaches Day:
The first National Coaches Day took place in 1972, after the IX, the founding of the Intercollegiate Athletics Association for Women, and the passage of the 1972 Olympics. President Richard Nixon issued a proclamation on September 19 of that year, 4157, announcing that this day would be held on October 6.
It follows Senate Resolution 213, which was passed on August 29, approving and requesting the President to do so. In his announcement, Nixon said that “a coach is capable of building the moral bond on which our future as a nation depends.”
He added that “it is fitting that our nation join them in the recognition and respect they deserve because they represent the best players of the American character.”
