Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) has released a load shedding schedule for the Dhaka division to make everyone aware. This schedule will be helpful for the people of the Dhaka district. Because by using a schedule people will finish all important tasks before load shedding. DPDC Load Shedding Schedule PDF is now published. Recently the people of Bangladesh have faced the problem of load shedding. All over the country, people are facing it. The power and energy sector is unable to provide adequate power due to low power generation.
On the other hand, huge gas storage has seen a significant decline in power generation. As a result, the Bangladesh government has decided that until the energy crisis is resolved, the country-wide area-based load shedding will continue. This area-wise load shedding will start on July 19 from 10 am to 10 pm.

Load Shedding Schedule In Dhaka City 2024
Finally, the Bangladesh government has decided to implement area-wise load shedding for an hour or two across the country. It will start on July 19 at 10 am. Today, the Minister of Power and Energy and Advisor to the Prime Minister is informed of this news. The Prime Minister agreed with the Minister of State for Power and Energy regarding this decision. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also announced that people will find the load shedding schedule on DPDC’s website.
DPDC will publish the Bangladesh load shedding schedule on their website before the start of load shedding and activities. First, the electricity distribution company in Dhaka will release the schedule for Dhaka only. It will be released to all divisions and districts gradually. If this activity helps in reducing the energy, it should be continued for 1 week. If this does not reduce the power crisis, then the schedule will be changed.

Special Load Shedding Schedule In Dhaka City:
Meanwhile, parts of Chandrima Model Town in Adabar will not have electricity from 10 am to 11 am. There will be no electricity in the area for one hour at the same time at night. There will be no electricity in the Turag housing area from 1 pm to 2 pm and 1 pm to 2 am. The power supply will be off from 7 AM to 8 AM and 7 PM to 8 PM in the Navodaya Housing section. The Japan Garden City project will be without electricity from 5 am to 6 am and 5 pm to 6 pm.
In Azimpur, there will be no electricity from 1 pm to 2 am, 9 am to 10 am, and 5 pm to 6 pm in the area adjacent to the road from the graveyard area, Shishu Park, and graveyard to BGB 1 Gate cinema hall. Neelkhet Bhumi Office, TNT Office, Karmajivi Women’s Hostel Washer Water Pump Kataban Market and surrounding areas will have power supply off for one hour from 6 am to 7 pm, 2 pm to 3 pm, and 10 pm to 11 pm. Eden College, Judges Quarter, Agrani School, and College areas will be without power from 1 pm to 2 pm, 9 am to 10 am, and 5 pm to 6 pm.
The timing of load shedding in the area adjacent to the shooting range has not been determined yet. Power supply will continue in the Nayapaltan area. However, there will be load shedding in the Purana Paltan area from 4 am to 5 am and 2 pm to 3 pm. Vijayanagar and Kakrail will have a power cut from 12 pm to 1 am, 7 am to 8 am, and 4 pm to 5 pm.

Instructions of the Ministry of Energy and Power:
All the instructions given by the Ministry of Energy and Power for the purpose of saving electricity and to meet the shortage of electricity are mentioned below. All citizens of the country must follow these instructions.
- Diesel-based power plants will be closed to reduce losses.
- Thinking of reducing office hours
- Petrol pumps will be closed for one day in a week.
- All shops must be closed after 8:00 pm.
- The decision to hold all public and Private meetings virtually.
- All citizens should save electricity from their own location.
- In all public and private offices and homes, the use of AC should be limited and the temperature of AC should be kept above 25 degrees Celsius.
Note: This load shedding will continue till further instructions
Final Words
Comparing the current situation with the war situation, the energy adviser also said that the shops will be closed after 8 pm. If anyone keeps it open, disciplinary action will be taken. The use of AC will be stopped in the mosque. Government office hours will be shortened and meetings will be held online.
State Minister for Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said, ‘Steps will be taken to use less oil in cars. It is not long-term. We have to be frugal. Electricity is more priority in the industrial business. These decisions will be implemented from Tuesday.
