Ivana Vuleta made history by becoming the first track and field athlete from Serbia to win a senior gold medal at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in 2018. Ivana Vuleta, born on May 10, 1990, is a Serbian long jumper. She was born to Vesna Spanović and Lubisa Spanović. Another Serbian professional athlete is Andrija Zivkovic. Spanovic grew up in a sporting environment as some of his relatives were active athletes.Ivana’s mother participated in athletic competitions.

But an injury during qualifying forced him to abandon the final and defend his title. Mihambo (6.75) got her 6.84 in qualifying better than her gold medal-winning performance, so it was her best result in the competition. An Achilles tendon injury forced Spanovic to miss the rest of the season, including the 2018 Diamond.
