★ How to write well (Key Focus):

১। লেখাটি সুম্পূর্ণ পরিস্ফুটিত ও যৌক্তিকভাবে উপস্থিত হয়েছে।
২। সঠিকভাবে প্যারাগ্রাফ বা organization সঠিক হয়েছে। (Introduction,description,grouping,comparison & conclusion)
৩। বিভিন্ন ধরণের প্রচলিত ও আধুনিক শব্দ চয়ন করা হয়েছে। (পর্যাপ্ত শব্দ চয়ন লক্ষণীয়)
৪। ৩ ধরণের sentence (simple,complex,compound) যথার্থ ভাবে/শুদ্বভাবে use করা হয়েছে।
৫। Cohesive device (connecting word, Linking word) সুন্দরভাবে উপস্থিত হয়েছে।
৬। বুলেটিং বা পয়েন্ট করে লিখে ব্যাখ্যা করা হয়েছে।
৭। ধারাবাহিকভাবে তথ্য ও ব্যাখ্যা উপস্থাপিত হয়েছে। অর্থাৎ বর্ণনাটি ধারাবাহিকভাবে develop করা হয়েছে।
৮। spelling mistake কম হয়েছে।
৯। punctuation (যতিচিহ্ন) সঠিকভাবে ব্যবহূত হয়েছে।

★ Common errors in Essay writing:

১। The omission of necessary words. (প্রয়োজনীয় শব্দ বাদ পড়ার দরুণ ত্রুটি)
২। The use of superfluous words. (বাহুল্য শব্দ ব্যবহারের দরুণ অশুদ্বি)
৩। The misuse of preposition, idioms & phrase. (…. ভুল ব্যবহার)
৪। The faulty construction. (বাক্য গঠনে ত্রুটির দরুণ অশুদ্বি)
৫। The use of inappropriate words. (বেমানান শব্দ ব্যবহারের ফলে ত্রুটি)
৬। The violation of the rules of grammar (ব্যাকরণগত ভুল)
৭। Spelling mistake. (বানানের ভুল)
৮। Punctuation mistake. (যতিচিহ্ন ব্যবহারে ত্রুটি)

★ লেখা সঠিক, সুন্দর ও আকর্ষণীয় করতে ……

১। Write in active verb rather than in nouns; use active voice.
উদাহরণ:
“It has been observed that…” – not this, but this – We observe that…” (এটি পরিলক্ষিত হয়েছে … এর পরিবর্তে … আমরা লক্ষ্য করি যে)

২। Avoid conditional/complex sentence in order to avoid grammatical errors.

৩। Use similar words, pronouns and connecting words.

৪। Use cohesive device such as Transitional Word/connecting word/Linking word.
(also, but, conversely, finally, first, for example, for instance, furthermore, however, if so/not, in addition, in contrast, in particular, it follows that, likewise, moreover, therefore, It implies that)

৫। রচনা লেখার সময় ব্যবহার করুন:

• A further point is that….
• Another point is that….
• Additionally,
• Furthermore,
• Not only that, but.…
• Despite this,
• Many people claim that….
• Some people say that….
• However, I think….
• I believe, however, that….
