The government introduced letter grading system for SSC and HSC examines in 2001 and 2003 respectively. The education boards now provides grade sheet which does not contain subject-wise marks. Boards came up with the decision as the High Court in 2024 asked them to provide the students with marks sheets on demand, said board officials.
