The Secondary Education Quality and Access Enhancement Project under Ministry of Education announced vacancies for 3000 Additional Class Teachers (ACTs) for 1000 secondary educational institutions all over the country in English Language, Mathematics and Science Subjects like- Physics, Chemistry & Biology up to December 2024. To ensure education quality and improve the teaching-learning process in rural areas by this step.

SEQAEP Teacher Recruitment Result 2024

Short-listed candidates will select on basis of upazila and merit. Recruited ACT will sign contract with respective SMC/MMC of deployed institution. The honorarium of Additional Class Teacher will TK 25,000.00 per month for 1st Class graduation level and TK 22,000.00 every month for 2nd Class graduation level by the project contract with SMC/MMC. Online application submission deadline was 13th August 2024 and submission of Hard copy deadline was 20th August 2024.

Responsibilities:

  1. Delivering lessons in accordance with the curriculum guidelines and educational standards.
  2. Planning and preparing instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
  3. Creating a conducive learning environment that promotes student participation and critical thinking.
  4. Assessing student progress through formative and summative evaluations.
  5. Providing timely feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
  6. Collaborating with colleagues, school administrators, and SEQAEP officials to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes.
  7. Participating in professional development activities and workshops to improve teaching skills and knowledge.
  8. Additional Class Teachers takes regular classes of the institution as do regular/MPO teacher,
  9. ACT takes minimum 16 Additional Classes in a month,
  10. Every Additional Class is approximately one hour that will held before school hour, weekly holidays & during vacations;
  11. ACT Identifies weak students form LRS & Peer Learning Group.
